Halloween in The Dalles

We all went to The Dalles for a (Dingman) family reunion. We went to Tree Top Play Park, visited with relatives, and did a little trick-or-treating. Colin was wearing real lederhosen that Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Steve brought back from Germany. Colin doesn't quite get the concept of trick-or-treating, he kept going into people's houses!

I didnt realize how long it had been since we have updated our blog. I guess its time. This summer has kept us quite busy. We did some short traveling. Spent the 4th of July weekend in Bend with my parents. We spent a weekend in The Dalles for a benefit out door concert with Andrea's parents. I left the University of Phoenix in July to go to work for Farmers Insurance Group. (no I am NOT an agent). Farmers has what is called NW Service Point. It is a service center for agents to call in to for assistance with...well, a ton of stuff. Andrea and I attended The Flaming Lips show in August. I played on the Farmers softball team. we had a horrible season. And then of course just spending as much time as we can together as a family.

Last february we bought our first "family" car. A 2008 Nissan Pathfinder. after putting up with many other car problems with Andrea's Mazda Protoge, we traded the mazda in 2 weeks ago, and bought me a 2010 Toyota Corolla. much better on gas than the pathfinder for my commute.

June 13, 2009: Belated Birthday

Colin's birthday celebration was only a day late, but this posting is very much belated! We had a BBQ with family and a few close friends. More photos will be posted on my Facebook page.

We Butlers started a tradition last year of taking Colin to the zoo for his birthday. We will see how many years he will let us take him. :o)

On June 12, Colin will be two years old! I know...We can't believe it either! He has grown up so fast. Today we took him to get his pictures taken. Here are a few we really liked.

Playset Galore!

This weekend was very eventful. Grandma and Grandpa Dingman came into town to spend a couple days here. Dad and Grandpa spent a couple days assembling Colin's birthday present. It was alot of work, but it is done. Now we just need to lay down some sod tomorrow to fill in some space.

A Day in May

Yay for Spring and Sunshine!

We are enjoying the good weather when it is here. Nothing new and exciting to report, really. Colin on occasion says a new word like "shoe", but mostly signs his words. He actually picks up on sign language vocabulary pretty quickly. He impressed a language specialist that goes to his day care every week.
