The Sickness

Somehow I was infected with strep tonsillitis last weekend. It was rather unpleasant. Its funny, I never had it much as a child but in the last three years I've gotten it twice. But don't worry as of yesterday I was fully recovered! Just in time to catch Colin's cold.
How is it that I'm the one eating fruits and veggies, taking vitamins and getting sick! Jared doesn't watch what he eats and rarely gets sick! AND he has good cholesterol! Maybe healthy eating is overrated.

Tortured Soul

So Colin decided a few weeks ago that he would prefer not to sleep in his bed. No, he would rather scream like a banshee or as if someone lit him on fire. We aren't sure what has changed. Did he have a bad experience in his room at night? Did a monster creep out from under his crib? This is what happens when he doesn't get adequate sleep during the night:



Of course after we pulled him out of the chair, brushed his teeth, donned his jams he was wide awake. And still went to bed later than his "normal" bedtime!

Vegas Trip 2009

For our anniversary, Jared and I went to Las Vegas (on the dime of Tahiti Village!). Grandma Bonnie came into town to take care of Colin. I was sad at the airport when we left Colin behind, but he didn't seem to mind. I wonder if he even noticed we were gone for 4 days. Here's some photos.
